Everything is permissible (lawful ) for me"—but I will not be mastered (overpowered) by anything. 13 “Food for the stomach and the stomach for food," - but God will destroy them both.” The body is not meant for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.  14 By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. 15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”17 But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit. 18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. 19 Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body. Sexual immorality is described in some bible passages as fornication which is a man or woman sleeping with an unmarried person and adultery a man or woman sleeping with a married man. There are several other sexual practices mention also like homosexuality, lesbianism today etc. Which ever one you are practicing, as a christian the lord is calling you today to break free from it. You have to take a step for God to help you. If you call yourself born again and still continue in such practices then you are not truly born again. Romans 12:1-2. Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship (true and proper worship). 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Dear brethren our bodies are suppose to be a living sacrifice for the Lord and to break lose from immorality requires a complete transformation of our minds. offering our minds to the lord rather than to evil thoughts and its desires.
